Are you looking for Bible verses about encouragement? Do you wonder if Christianity offers a source of encouragement for hard times? I want to let you know, that you are not alone and that Christianity does offer encouragement to all who are searching. Sometimes it is very difficult to encourage yourself and it helps to have people around you who will encourage you in the Lord and help you to see that better days are ahead of you.

Christianity resources

When I started Latoya’s World, I was determined to not create just another Christian music blog. Therefore I launched my e-guide “Where are you?” to help others answer the call of God for their life. One of my readers commended me for offering an e-guide to help others instead of a music download to promote my EP. Above all, my desire is to write according to the leading of the Holy Spirit and to provide encouragement as the Lord leads me, because the Bibles says, “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:11 ESV) and I believe that we can do this in many different ways. For instance, I have included a link to a YouTube video where you can listen to the audio version of Bible verses about encouragement if you prefer. I find this very useful especially when I am on the go.

Our true source of encouragement

There have been times in my life where I felt down and needed some encouragement. I remember scrolling through my phone book looking for someone to call and there was no one who I could call to encourage me, not because I don’t have a good network of family and friends because I do. However, sometimes the encouragement we need is only found in God. As a result, I decided to find encouragement in the Word of God and today, I want to share with you some of the Bible verses that encouraged me.

Isn’t it amazing that sometimes the true source of our encouragement is the last place we look! I am so happy that you have decided to look to the Word of God for your encouragement today and it is my prayer that the scriptures below will be the answers that you are looking for.
